the equation. Assuming performance is all pretty similar among 2.5" systems, the only other factors to consider are price, material, and look. I would argue the HKS fails on the material and the look. My dad's HKS exhaust on his 240SX only lasted a few years here in the salty Chicago winters. I despise aluminized piping. The HKS exhaust he had was not ricey looking like the Hiper though. So that one only failed the material test. Stainless steel is so much nicer and more durable and totally worth the extra $200+. You hope to only buy it once so might as well do it right. On a budget, you can get the performance out of the Hiper. I don't think that's anything anyone will argue. But that's all you get. It's ugly and it's not stainless steel. So it fails most of the catback criteria in my book.
